Scenario

Sales representative Terry Mason is currently working on several opportunities with Forest Gas Corp. Terry just learned that a competitor sold video recorders to the account. As a result, Terry does not see any opportunities for the Hybrid Digital Video Recorders and Network Video Recorder with PoE products and decides to set the video recorder products to blocked for the account.

Use the following credentials to log in to the exercise system:

Role User name Password
Sales representative Terry Mason tmason rules

Open the Engagement map for the Forest Gas Corp account and set the Hybrid Digital Video Recorders and Network Video Recorder with PoE products to blocked, Then, identify any products with no engagement activity.

 

You must initiate your own Pega instance to complete this Challenge.

Initialization may take up to 5 minutes so please be patient.

Detailed Tasks

1 Display and override an engagement map

  1. Log in to your exercise system as sales representative Terry Mason.
  2. Open the Engagement map page.
  3. Set the fields in Filters to:
    1. Product category: Security
    2. Account: Forest Gas Corp
  4. Click Apply filters.
  5. Right-click and select Blocked for the following products:
    1. Hybrid Digital Video Recorders
    2. Network Video Recorder with PoE
  6. Identify the white space. The following products should have no engagement:
    1. Photo Electric Smoke Detectors
    2. Carbon Monoxide
    3. Dome Camera System
