Changing the layout of a service case

Introduction

Pega Customer Service™ provides a variety of design templates that you select to alter the view of a service case; this allows application administrators to make changes and quicken updates to improve efficiency. In this demonstration, you see how to modify the layout of a service case and how to add a new field to display.

In this demonstration, you learn how to change the layout and add a field to a service case.

Start a new interaction by clicking New > Demo Screen Pops > Demo Pop – CONNOR.

Click Accept to start the interaction.

Click the Add icon to select a service case to modify.

Double-click Address Change to start the case.

Click the Toggle design mode icon in the header to enable design mode.

Hover over the section and click the Edit icon to edit the section.

In the Settings pane on the right, click Change to display the available design templates.

Click the 3 Column design template icon to change this layout from the current two-column layout to the new three-column layout.

In the Settings pane, click the Add icon to see the fields that are available.

Click the Add icon next to the Business phone field to add the field to column C.

Click the X to close the view for the layout and the section.

Click Toggle design mode to see the updated service case.

You have now successfully updated the layout and added a property to a service case.
