Scenario

Stakeholders want to display the Assistant name and Assistant phone fields To the professional details for a contact.

Use the following credentials to log in to the exercise system:

Role User name Password
System administrator Eddie rules
Sales representative bmiller rules

Your assignment consists of the following tasks:

Task 1: Update the contact view.

Task 2: Confirm your work.

 

You must initiate your own Pega instance to complete this Challenge.

Initialization may take up to 5 minutes so please be patient.

Detailed Tasks

1 Use contact view

  1. Log in to your exercise system as the system administrator.
  2. In the left navigation panel, click Case Types.
  3. Click Contacts.
  4. Click UX tab.
  5. In the right navigation, in the Tabs section, click Details.
  6. In the right navigation, in the Region A section, click Details.
  7. In the right navigation, in the Fields section, click Edit view professional.
  8. In the right navigation, in the Fields section, Click + Add.
  9. Click Fields.
  10. Select the Assistant name and Assistant phone fields and click Add.

  11. Click Save.

Confirm your work

  1. Log in to your exercise system as the sales representative.
  2. On the left, from the Explorer panel, click Contacts to view all contacts.
  3. Click Matthew Smith.
  4. Verify that the that the Assistant name and Assistant phone fields display.
