Scenario

Sarah Kendall is the sales manager for North America. Sarah has a new member on her team named Jeff Green. Sarah notices that Jeff is underperforming. The system suggests several coaching plans for Jeff. First, Sarah wants Jeff to increase the pipeline amount in the qualification stage.

Use the following credentials to log in to the exercise system:

Your assignment consists of the following tasks

Task 1: As Sarah, leverage the suggested coaching plan, and recommend that Jeff increase the pipeline amount in the qualification stage.

Task 2: As Jeff, comment on the plan.

Task 3: As Sarah, close the plan as completed.

1 As Sarah, leverage the suggested coaching plan and recommend that Jeff increase the pipeline amount in the qualification stage

  1. Log in to your exercise system as sales manager Sarah Kendall.
  2. Select Pulse.
  3. Under Coaching plans, in the Suggested tab locate the Increase the pipeline amount in the Qualification stage plan for Jeff Green.
  4. Click on Coach to create a new coaching plan.
  5. In Plan details, enter Increase the pipeline amount in the qualification stage by following up on existing leads.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. Log out Sarah Kendall from the exercise system.

2 As Jeff, comment on the plan

  1. Log in to your exercise system as sales representative Jeff Green.
  2. Select Pulse.
  3. Under Coaching plans, click View to open the coaching plan.
  4. Click Comment under Sarah's pulse message to open a blank comment field.
  5. Enter I have doubled the amount in the qualification stage!
  6. Click the arrow icon to submit the comment.
  7. Click Close.
  8. Log out Jeff Green from the exercise system.

3 As Sarah, close the plan as completed

  1. Log in to your exercise system as sales manager Sarah Kendall.
  2. Select Pulse.
  3. Under Coaching plans, click on the Active tab.
  4. Click on the down arrow and select Complete plan from the drop-down list.
  5. In the Comments field, enter Well done!
  6. Click Submit to complete the coaching plan.
