Details tab

The Details tab provides relevant data that a user needs to work on a Case. It can be helpful to conduct user research to understand what information your users need to see on the Details tab, as they work on the Case.

The following image shows a sample Details tab:

There are five layout templates you can select from:

  • One-column layout (default)

  • Two-column layout

  • Three-column layout

  • Narrow-wide - has a thinner first column and a wider second column

  • Wide-narrow - has a wider first column and a thinner second column

All five templates adjust to a single-column layout on smaller displays, such as when using mobile devices and using the zoom function.

Pulse tab

Pulse is Pega’s built-in collaboration tool that helps users coordinate work. Users can have conversations at any time about key needs, inquiries, status updates, or any other topics that help them make progress on their work.

The following image shows an example of a Pulse tab in a Case:

Custom tab

Custom tabs are highly flexible. Like other tabs, you can set the name of the tab, update the tab pane template, adjust conditional visibility, and show a count based on a property.

You add custom tabs to your Case in App Studio, by clicking Add in the Tabs section of the Edit view: Full case page pane, as shown in the following figure:
