Dashboard widgets

Introduction

Pega Sales Automation™ includes role-based portals for sales operations, sales managers, and sales representatives. Each of the role-based standard portals include a dashboard tailored to the role. For example, the dashboards may display operational information and key performance indicators, such as the pipeline growth trend, sales futurecast, and opportunities.

Widgets

Sales Operations team members can configure the default dashboards for sales managers and sales representatives. Regardless of role, any user can personalize their default dashboard.

Dashboard Layout

The layout of a dashboard is defined by a template that divides the workspace into slots. Each slot contains one or more widgets. You can choose one of several templates. Some of the templates are specific to Pega Sales Automation and some are specific to Pega Customer Service.

Note: Pega Sales Automation provides 40 widgets for you to choose from. For more information about widgets, see Pega Sales Automation dashboard widgets and reports on Pega Community.

Most widgets allow you to toggle between chart view and data view and allow you to drill down into the data from the data view. For example, the Opportunities by Product widget allows you to view opportunities for a salesperson as a chart or data.

You can drill down and view individual opportunities from the data view.

Some widgets are artificial intelligence (AI)-based and use decisioning capabilities to provide predictive data with self-learning, adaptive models. AI-based widgets are marked with a Polaris icon. For example, the Sales manager coach widget uses the adaptive models to analyze changes in, for example, the number of created contacts, number of converted leads, and the opportunity pipeline to display the effectiveness of sales representatives.

Clicking on a score displays the radar charts that provides precise insight into the predictors used as well as their values.

Note: You must activate the artificial intelligence feature in Pega Sales Automation and then train the adaptive models for the AI-based features to work. For more information, see Activating and training Pega Sales Automation adaptive models for artificial intelligence on Pega Community.

In addition, you can include widgets for Pega Customer Service and core functionality such as case management, social, and reports. For example, the Reports widget allows inclusion of any report on the dashboard.
