Program configurator in Pega Government Platform

In Pega Government Platform™, the program configurator is a tool in which agencies can manage and customize the needs of customers for programs such as citizen services and immigration-oriented programs when interacting with constituents and corporate entities. The program configurator gives you greater flexibility and reduces the proliferation of items for uniquely configured programs.

In App Studio, you can introduce a new program or license into the system or update the existing ones.

The following figure shows the configurations for a four-wheeler driving license. The configuration consists of basic details such as NameShort nameDescription, and Subcategory. There is also an option to upload or replace an image.

Program and license configuration

Application start date and Application end date denote the dates through which customers can apply for a specific license.

You can also configure the duration for the license along with the cost of the application and the maximum number of licenses that customers can hold.

In the Applicable for list, you can also configure the entity that belongs to the program or license.

In the program configuration, you can also select other standalone components such as a checklist, consent agreement, document, and evaluation configuration.

Selecting the Compliance required checkbox indicates whether the license needs to be compliant and the frequency of compliance, such as Monthly, Quarterly, or Annual.
