Published desktop
In published desktop mode, a client accesses a remote machine that contains all of the applications necessary for work, just like a virtual machine (VM), or users' desktops.
Automation developers must remember that a published desktop requires the installation of Pega Robot Studio and Pega Robot Runtime™ within the Citrix server. All Citrix-related applications that are necessary to run each automation must also be installed on that same Citrix server within this configuration type. The installation of the environments and applications is essential for object interrogation and the creation of any automation adapters.
